Great <strong>mechanical<\/strong>robustness of the setup<br \/>\nThe geometry of <strong>Gridex U<\/strong> allows nearly automated production.<\/p>\n<h3>DESCRIPTION<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Gridex U system is made up of collections of <strong>edged grids<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>on the two short sides by full adhesive bands intended for the<strong> mechanical fixing<\/strong> and arrivals of<strong> current<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>on the two long sides by <strong>U-shaped<\/strong> <strong>stainless-steel<\/strong> <strong>stiffeners<\/strong>. Flexible insulating tape (<strong> mica sheet<\/strong> ) which fits inside the stiffener while extending far beyond it, ensures the insulation between the stiffener and the edge of the<strong> grid.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ASSEMBLY<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The<strong> grids<\/strong> are stacked on two rods,<strong> threaded<\/strong> at the extremities. Isolation between the grids and the rods is ensured by <strong>ceramic<\/strong><strong>flange rings<\/strong> . The assembly is maintained by nuts and spring washers.<\/p>\n<h3>LOGIN<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The<strong> connections<\/strong> between grids are ensured by <strong>spot-welded stainless-steel<\/strong> <strong>riders<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThese jumpers give good mechanical rigidity to the whole bank.
