Our mission :<\/h3>\n

Following Fukushima, ASN (the Nuclear Safety Agency) imposed new procedures and equipment to strengthen the safety of nuclear power plants. The construction of DUS (Last resort diesel) is part of this major plan.
\nEDF asked the METAL DEPLOYE RESISTOR teams to design and manufacture a load bank for each French nuclear power plant to qualify the DUS and then maintain them in operational conditions through regular tests.<\/p>\n

The METAL DEPLOYE RESISTOR solution:<\/h3>\n

Supply of 16 load banks to test the DUS on the NPPs (nuclear power plants).<\/p>\n

  • 10 40ft containers of 3.5MW<\/li>\n
  • 6 40ft containers of 4.5MW<\/li>\n
  • 6.6kV 50Hz<\/li>\n
  • On trailer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u201cIt is surely one of the most important orders on this type of product. We have thus enabled EDF to increase its fleet of high-power load banks (containers) to 27 in France. This made it possible to confirm our expertise in the particular nuclear context. EDF is one of our historical customers. The teams of engineers were able to meet the technical requirements by supporting each stage of this long project which lasted more than 3 years. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
